Jones of Washington

Jones of Washington is a family-owned winery, with vineyards located along the Columbia River in central Washington state and in what is arguably one of the best grape growing regions in the West.  Small-batch artisan wines, which receive the love and attention only people closely tied to the land can provide.  Since 1949 when the Columbia Basin Project began, the Jones Family started growing and packing potatoes in Winchester, Washington. From this, the venture has grown into the production of many different farm crops.

Reaping and suffering has brought much knowledge of the land in this extreme business. In 1997, the first Jones Vineyards were planted on the Wahluke slope. This led to the beginning of Jack Jones Winery and the Jones of Washington brands.

Jones Winery has two locations for you to visit.  One is in town, the other in the country.  (See their addresses below).  Jones makes delicious wines that you know will always be consistently good.  Their tasting room in Wenatchee is conveniently located in Pybus Public Market.  Right next door is Cheesemonger's, the perfect accompaniment to wine.  Which you can enjoy while visiting in the Jones tasting room.

"This is a must! Sip and savor small batch artisan wines at Jones of Washington's Pybus Tasting Room.  When you visit the Jones Pybus Tasting Room you are in for a treat. Not only are their award winning wines going to win you over but so is their staff. Every Jones of Washington employee can speak with passion about their wines. Their knowledgeable staff will walk a novice like myself through their wines with guided hands or share tasting notes with the most advanced of connoisseur. If you want a one of a kind experience from the best - go no further than Jones of Washington's Pybus Tasting Room. I recently paired, with the help of Jones, their Viognier with Paella, a family tradition. At our home we see things not so much in black and white as we do in red and white. Syrah and Viognier. These small batches go quickly so be sure to join their wine club so you will be sure to have first dibs. I raise my glass to the Pybus Tasting Room". - Megan K.

Quincy Tasting Room: Rich ag history

JonesQuincyTastingRoom9.jpg

Members of the Jones Family are rightfully proud of the Quincy area. It is, after all, where they have lived and farmed since the 1950s. That same pride applies to the Jones of Washington tasting room in Quincy.

Located in an apple warehouse, the tasting room sells Jones wine by the bottle as well as other select merchandise — and all in a comfy setting that will have you coming back again and again.

The Quincy tasting room has been a mainstay in the community since 2003. Family member Megan Jones designed the space, settling on a look that is both rustic and whimsical.

Just look for the red tractor parked alongside Highway 28, two miles west of Quincy!
