Always held in the Leavenworth Festhalle in downtown Bavarian Leavenworth, it is the ideal setting to experience award-winning beer, great music, and dancing. Breweries participate from all over the country.

Join us for the most wonderful time of the year, when our quaint Bavarian town becomes a Village of Lights (over half a million of them!) and holiday cheer abounds!
On Friday evenings the lights are all on! Live musical performances of your favorite Christmas songs fill the streets, interrupted briefly at 4:30 pm for the arrival of St. Nickolaus at the Front Street Gazebo, who welcomes children young and old with the story of his legacy and "gold" for the good boys and girls!
On Saturdays and Sundays, the festivities kick into full gear at 12:00 pm with the Arrival of Santa and costumed holiday characters in a march from the Festhalle to the Gazebo!
Throughout the day you will find high-caliber performances in the Front Street Gazebo, including handbell choirs, a top-ranking Army National Guard Dixie band, breakout solo artists, the best high school and professional choirs in the Pacific Northwest, and more!
You'll also find carolers strolling through town, the smell of roasted chestnuts filling the air, sledding in Front Street Park, a traditional Gluhwein Tent (selling hot spiced wine and cider), costumed Christmas characters (including Santa, Mrs., Claus, and Father Christmas), and more! On Sundays, kids can collect free cookies by following the Cookie Crawl Map!
It all culminates each Saturday and Sunday with the Lighting Ceremony (4:30pm), when a bit of pomp and circumstance brings about the lighting of the village with over half a million lights!
The winter fun doesn't stop there! Holiday concerts and productions, tubing, sleigh and dog sled rides, snowmobiling, alpine skiing and snowboarding, nordic skiing and snowshoeing – we have plenty of ways for you to make the most of our winter wonderland!

Mahogany & Merlot
Vintage Hydroplane, Boat and
October 6 & 7, 2018
Chelan Waterfront Park & Lakeside Marina
Mahogany & Merlot Vintage Boat and Car Show is an annual ‘on-the-water’ boat show and FREE family-friendly event! Each year we showcase classic cars on the shore, along with "on-the-water" Vintage Unlimited Hydroplanes, Vintage Inboard ‘Limited Class’ Hydroplanes and Antique & Classic Mahogany Runabouts from the Golden Era of pleasure boating.
Imagine up to seven big Unlimiteds thundering through the waters, recreating the action of earlier years. We are talking about boats like Miss Wahoo, Miss Budweiser, Miss Burien, Miss Thriftway, Atlas Van Lines and the newly restored Pay 'n Pak! These same raceboats, now beautifully restored and preserved, will return to Lake Chelan next October. Hydro exhibition races will begin early Saturday morning (weather permitting!) and again on Sunday morning.
Also showcased will be up to 20 beautifully restored smaller inboards (limited class) Hydroplanes and Racing Runabouts. While the Unlimited Hydroplanes run the WWII Aircraft Power Plants, these vintage 'limited' class boats utilize a variety of automotive-based engines.
You will also have the opportunity to purchase a pass to enter Thunder Alley presented by the Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum so you can get up close to the boats and talk to the crews!
On Saturday only, Mahogany & Merlot will once again continue along 'Mahogany Row' at Don Morse Park & Marina on beautiful Lake Chelan. Presented by the PNW Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society, meticulously restored Antique & Classic Mahogany Chris-Crafts, Centurys, Gar Woods and other makes from a bygone era will line the docks for your viewing and voting pleasure.
Also on Saturday, our Classic Car Show will feature many cool cars - we're talking Packards, Bentleys, Rolls Royces, Corvettes and other beautifully restored classic cars. Many of these are the same cars you see at the Pebble Beach Car Show or Woodie Club shows! All of the cars are different and oh so cool!
In between looking at all the hydros, boats and cars, browse through our Vendor Village presented by The Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum, with many different vendors offering an array of art, crafts, gifts, clothing, one of a kind items, vintage goodies, wine barrel furniture, a classic boat parts swap meet, and much more. Then on to one of our delicious food booths for a delicious lunch or snack! Don't forget - you can also enjoy all the action from our Lakefront Beer & Wine Garden featuring Vin du Lac Wines and ales from Mac & Jack's!
There is so much to do at Mahogany & Merlot! Make plans now to come and enjoy a perfect weekend with the perfect entertainment!
