This family oriented event commemorates the 1931 flight of the Miss Veedol, the first plane to cross the Pacific Ocean.
–Activities include: Car Show, Aviation Activities & Displays, Free Kids’ Activities (Saturday only), Red Apple Flyers Displays, Carnival, Food & Craft Vendors. Free shuttle bus on Saturday to the Red Apple Flyers Field to view live radio-controlled model aircraft demonstrations!

At Red Apple Flyers Field
10:00 am to 4:00 pm Exciting demonstrations! Special events may include a jet plane flight, a Miss Veedol Trans-Pacific reenactment, a 3-D aerobatic demonstration, and an opportunity to try flying radio-controlled aircraft. (demonstrations subject to weather)
Location of Red Apple Flyers Field: take Grant Rd. east from East Wenatchee, stay on the main road past Pangborn Field, you will go through a 90 degree right turn and a 90 degree left turn. Now you are on Fourth St. headed east. The Flyers Field entrance is on the left 2.3 miles from the Pangborn Field entrance.
There will be a shuttle bus on Saturday between the park and the Red Apple Flyers Field courtesy of Colonial Vista Retirement and Assisted LIving Apartments. Shuttle bus operates from 10 am to 4 pm and makes 2 stops an hour
