Our family loves to camp!  Once the weather is warm enough for us to get outside and Spring break rolls around, we hit up Lincoln Rock State park.    The crowds haven't ventured out yet, so it's the perfect time for us locals to take advantage of available spots.

I was excited to see the expansion of 8 new cabins added to the park by Chelan County PUD.   These small cabins are beautiful and well-appointed with all the amenities your family needs.  Kitchenette, dinning table, queen bed, bunk beds, bathroom, outside picnic table, grill, and a great view.   I couldn't get pics of the inside as the cabins as they will be newly opened this weekend.

You may want to reserve your cabin now if you plan to visit the area this Summer!  Lincoln Rock State Park is a popular family getaway that is consistently full.

Lincoln Rock State Park is an 80-acre camping park on the east side of Lake Entiat, created by Rocky Reach Dam blocking the flow of the Columbia River north of Wenatchee. The park, a popular place for swimming, water-skiing, and respite from the hot sun, was named for a basalt outcropping said to resemble the profile of Abraham Lincoln.

The Rocky Reach Trail connects Lincoln Rock State Park and the Apple Capital Loop Trail in East Wenatchee and enhances tourism offerings in the area. The 5-mile non-motorized recreation trail is perfect for pedestrians and bicycles and provides beautiful views and a unique recreation opportunity along the Columbia River. The trail is a paved surface with rolling hills that is ADA accessible
